Foodie Feeds is the latest website in the BBQ Grail family of food related sites. Foodie Feeds is a place where you can easily see the latest posts on Food Blog sites. The sites with the newest posts are shown first, and you can click the link to open a new window that will display that food blog post. It’s quite easy to use — just view the page, and click on the link you want. Since a new window (or tab) is opened for each site, you can easily return back to FoodieFeeds to click on more food blog sites.

We use a customized process to look at the RSS feed of each participating food blog site. This process runs many times a day, and stores information about each food blog’s latest entries in our database. When you view the main FoodieFeeds page, that information is quickly extracted from the database and displayed on the page. The food blogs with the most recent entries are displayed first, so you can easily see which ones that you would like to read. Just click on the link, and a new browser tab will display that selected food blog’s latest post.

If you own a blog about foods, you need to get your blog on FoodieFeeds. It’s quite easy, just fill out our FoodieFeeds form. And if you want your food blog to have a higher position on the FoodieFeeds page, or want to have an ad displayed on FoodieFeeds, let us know via the comment form.

About The BBQ Grail Site

The BBQ Grail website was created in 2007, initially to document the author’s quest to find the perfect backyard BBQ experience. Since that time The BBQ Grail has become one of the more popular BBQ blogs on the internet. Including a listing on Alltop.com as one of the top BBQ blogs.

The BBQ Grail brand recently expanded with two additional websites. WikiQuepedia was started, in 2009, to provide a website for BBQ enthusiasts to share their knowledge of the craft with others. Foodie Feeds began in 2010 to give other food bloggers another outlet for promoting their websites. The BBQ Grail would not be what it is today without the help, guidance and support of Rick Hellewell of CellarWeb.com. If you need web design work please consider Rick.

About The Author

Larry Gaian’s writing career’s had it’s humble beginnings in Mr. Mike Moss’s 5th grade class, at Avondale Elementary School in Spring Valley, California, when he began writing one act Sci-Fi plays with his friend Randy Gibson. He eventually joined the Army where he was an award winning journalist with the Fort Hood Sentinel.

The love of BBQ, for Larry, began in 1977 when he found himself stationed at Fort Hood in the heart of Central Texas. For some reason, after years of listening to the typical (and soon to be classic) 70′s rock music he found himself in enjoying the music of the Outlaw Country Music scene. Waylon, Willie and the boys brought Texas to life for him.

It was about this time Waylon released the song Luckenbach, Texas. The next Spring a group of 6 young and stupid GIs crowded into a rundown Volkswagon bug and headed out to attend the Mud Dauber Festival in Luckenbach. It was an interesting trip to say the least. It was during this trip that Larry partook of smoked brisket for the first time. It was at that very second, when the smokey goodness touched his tongue that his BBQ journey began

These days Larry’s time is spent writing for The BBQ Grail, Smoke Signals magazine and “Sizzle On The Grill,” a Char-Broil website. Recently Larry was selected by Char-Broil to be a Guest Celebrity Chef at the World Barbeque Championships at Memphis In May.

In “real life” Larry is the Director of Training and Development for a subsidiary of a worldwide Fortune 500 company. He is an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He currently functions in the church as an Early Morning Seminary Principal where he is responsible for a building full of the greatest kids in the world.

What’s next for Larry? There’s a line of bbq rubs and sauces to be introduced. He’s also working on a cookbook and is working on outlines for a series of murder mystery novels centered around cooking.

About The Photos On This Site

For better or worse all the photos on this page are my own work, unless otherwise noted. I’m working every day on how to make the pictures on my site better. I know that if I get better at “plating” the food, the pictures will improve too, so I’m working on that also. What it comes down to is I’m not a photographer, but I do enjoy taking pictures and posting them.
