The Winner of the BBQ Grail’s “Mother of all Father’s Day Contest” will receive the prize package listed on the BBQ Grail “Mother of all Father’s Day Contest” Prize Sponsor Page as of 31 March, 2012.

Entry Process

The BBQ Grail “Mother of all Father’s Day Contest” is designed to celebrate Mothers, Fathers and those who have filled the role of mom and dad to anyone. Contest nominees must be 18 years of age and older. You may nominate yourself or someone else who is over the age of 18. Winner must reside within the United States.

Entries must be under 250 words. You should start you nomination with something like: “(Name) should win this prize package because,” or “I nominate (name) because.” If your entry is picked for voting, then your nomination will be posted for everyone to see. We recommend a carefully prepared nomination, but not “over the top”. Just give us a good basic nomination.

Entries will be accepted starting at 7:00am PDT on April 1st, 2012. All entries must be submitted through the official BBQ Grail “Mother of all Father’s Day Contest” Entry page using the official entry form. You may enter the contest multiple times during the contest period but not more than once per calendar day.

Entry Deadline

Entries will be accepted up to 11:59 pm PDT on May 5th, 2012.

Prize Delivery

Each prize listed on the Prize Sponsor Page has been donated. Each donor has committed to mailing the prize directly to the winner. Every effort will be made to get the prizes sent and delivered prior to Father’s Day, June 17th, 2012 but The BBQ Grail Blog, BBQ Grail Media Group or Larry Gaian are not responsible for any prize not delivered by any donor.

Winners

Each entry will be time and date stamped at time of entry. Entries will be numbered sequentially based on time and date stamp.

From all entries submitted, 25 entries will be selected using the number assigned upon entry and randomly selected numbers by Random.Org. On or before 11:59pm on May 5th, 2012, the contestants submitting the selected entries will be notified via email.

At 7:00am PDT on May 7th, 2012 a blog entry will post to The BBQ Grail containing a poll with all selected entries. The poll will run through 11:59pm PDT on May 25rd, 2012.

The entry receiving the most votes during the poll period will be declared the winner of the BBQ Grail’s “Mother of all Father’s Day Contest” and will receive the prize package describe above.

Winner Notification

The entry receiving the most votes during the poll period will be declared the winner of the BBQ Grail’s “Mother of all Father’s Day Contest” and will receive the prize package describe above. Winner will be notified via email within 24 hours of the closing of the contest.

Prize Acceptance

Winner will have 48 hours to respond and accept the prize and provide shipping information. This acceptance must be made through email. The BBQ Grail Blog, BBQ Grail Media Group or Larry Gaian will not be responsible for lost emails. It is the winner’s sole responsibility to insure notification has been received of their prize acceptance.

The Winner of the BBQ Grail’s “Mother of all Father’s Day Contest” agrees that by accepting the prize(s) they agree to have their name and city of residence published on The BBQ Grail Blog. They also agree to allow any and all prize sponsors use their name and city of residence in any and all advertising without further compensation.

The Alternate Winner

If the poll winner does not meet the 48 hour notification the second place finisher will receive the prize package.

All decisions by Larry Gaian, The BBQ Grail are final.
