Ironically, we JUST bought a tank of propane today. I cleaned my combo gas grill/charcoal grill/smoker unit from head to toe with a degreaser. Got ready to reseason it and it dawned on me….I need gas.

With two BGE and this unit, the main reason I ever use gas is trying to beat the rain. With the gas grill side, I can get it up to heat, cook, and kill the heat quickly if a storm is moving in. Then roll it back into the garage without worrying about a still burning fire from building up carbon monoxide in the house.

I think Randy deserves it because he’s not only a great dad and cook. He’s a great brother to my mother, a great son to my grandpa and grandpa, a great friend to his friends, but he’s a great uncle.

I think #2(Randy Gerdon) is most deserving of this award not only for the entry by his wife but also for the fact that he is the total grilling guru! At the lakes, tailgating and in the backyard he prides himself on the mouthwatering meats,veggies and desserts that he can make on the grill. If it can be Smoked,BBQ’d,Seared or Blackened he’ll make it Yummy!!! You can taste the love of grilling Randy puts into each meal he creates ~ and the only reward he needs is to hear “Good Food! Randy” from his family and friends.
Vote Team Randy #2 we’d like to give Randy something that he truly deserves and would greatly appreciate!!

Anyone who knows Cynthia knows that she truly needs to win this prize She is one of THE most amazing Mothers I have ever known. She takes amazingly great care of her kids and is a beautiful person with a precious heart. There are very few women like her, who truly go above and beyond the call of Motherhood and still manage to be a friend to all who know her. She is the best friend that everyone would love to have – loyal, kind, compassionate, funny, smart, and humble on top of it all. I know these other people probably have great qualities too, but she is the best of the best and sacrifices herself daily for her family and I don’t know many Moms who could have the organization to handle taking care of 5 small children every day and do it with such grace and humor. So come on people, vote for Cynthia !!!!

Well considering this is a cooking award, I think the prize should go to an entry that actually talks about the nominees cooking and from what I can tell, there are only two nominations that actually refer to the persons cooking. I think Cynthia dwarves this because she not only takes amazing care of her 5 children, but she also does all the cooking so her husband whom does all he can to provide for his family can come home and relax after a hard day and just enjoy his family.

Cynthia from entry #1 is truly the most amazing and beautiful friend and Mother I have been blessed to know. When I was a new student in public school in 6th grade and standing in the breezeway by myself not knowing anyone-she came up to me and asked if I knew anyone. I did not of course, so she took me under her wing and from that day forward was the friend she promised to be. Of course thru the years and many moves there were long periods of time we would go without talking. We both know that is because between her 5 children and my two,… Hard to talk. But when we do, it’s like our friendship never missed a beat!! I am honored and consider myself extremely lucky to be able to call Cynthia my friend. Thank you sweet soul for being you.
