A week or so ago I publicized a smoker giveaway over at Nibble Me This. If you didn’t win Chris’ contest you have a second chance to win a 30 inch electric smoker from Masterbuilt.
Here’s how to enter:
Stop by the Masterbuilt Recipe site and pick out your favorite recipe.
Once you’ve picked out your recipe come back to this post and leave a comment on which is your favorite recipe and why you’d like to win the smoker. (Comments are held in moderation for appropriateness before release)
You may enter one per day until September 15th. The winner will announced on September 16th.
Here’s a little information from Masterbuilt on this great little unit:

Honey cured smoked salmon sounds nice. I would like to win this smoker since it gets difficult to entertain lots of people from a single Big Green Egg.
RIBS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Maple Glazed Ham looks great. I have an old gas smoker that is just a pain in the rear to use – temps are all over the place. I’m really getting disgusted with my smoking experiences with what I have (I’ve about given up.) I think that Masterbuilt would turn things around – they look super easy to use!
Maple Glazed Ham and Smoked Baked Potatoes would probably be my first smoke on that beauty.
Ribs ribs and more ribs!
I’d like to try the Pork or Baby Back Ribs. I want to win this because I know my husband would love it.
I might just have to smoke some lamb on this unit. I wonder where that idea came from?
Pork Butt and Pork Ribs. After all… It is football season!
Ribs, ribs and more ribs.
I’d like to try the recipe for Maple Glazed Ham. I’d like to win this for my husband.
MMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmm the super smoker sweet & spicy wings!
If we had a smoker, it would have made the Cowboys beating themselves just a bit easier- well OK, half weren’t cheering for the Cowboys, but hey, everyone would have loved smoked wings
maple glazed ham and some St. Louis ribs….
I’d like to try the Smoked Leg Of Lamb. My husband’s 50th birthday is coming up, and I’d like to win this for him. He would love it!
I would love to try the hamburger jerky! Football season is here, and our house is often ‘the’ football destination on Monday (or Thursday or Sunday) games since we don’t have kids at home. With this smoker, and that recipe the ‘guys’ will finally know this gal is a serious football fan! Go Hawks!
would love to win this to make sausage& jerkey
I like the Smoked Corn on the Cob; been grilling corn for years never tried or thought about smoking it. Will give it a try this weekend.
Baby Back Ribs! We would love to have an electric smoker from Masterbuilt. Our ancient grill is about to rust through, we’ve had it so long! Thanks for the chance.
Last entry for the Lamb guy. Taking friends on a tour of the Oregon coast. Will check on the fortunate winner when we return. Many thanks for the opportunity to win the Masterbuilt smoker.
Good luck & good smoke to all, Jay Bird
Smoked Tuna Steaks sound great. Would probably use this smoker every weekend!
I’d like to try the Sweet Smoked Salmon. I want to win this because my husband would love to have a smoker, and his 50th birthday is coming up. Thanks!
Smoked cornish hens look great- I have NEVER been able to cook them right- perhaps with a cool smoker it would make it turn out right
LAMB is a little later tonight. Went to the Western Washington Fair today. The Q I tried was OK by Fair standards. I guess that doesn’t set the bar too high.
Can you hear it? The Smoked Corn on the Cob is calling my name!
I’d like to try the recipe for Pork or Baby Back Ribs.
I want to win this for my husband.
Tonight I would go for the lamb. I have never been able to get lamb quite right in the oven, and perhaps the smoker would work better.
If I won the smoker I could impress my husband with my cooking skills- in 25 years he hasn’t been unimpressed, but he knows I can’t cook lamb
Back again with the lamb. If nothing else I am persistant. OK, I really would be smoking lots of other victuals but the lamb is first.
Have you seen Chris’ new BGE? I’m SO, so jealous! I must win this smoker so I can compete! I’ll make smoked salmon right out of the gate – with raspberry buerre blanc…trust me, it’s worth the work!
Every day I think about smoked corn on the cob………….YUM
I’d love to try the Maple Glazed Ham. I’d like to win this for my husband’s 50th birthday.
Would LOVE to win this smoker!!!!!!!!!!! We are in the process of building an outdoor kitchen, and this would be a perfect addition. The first thing we would try would be the smoked chicken and mac and cheese!!!!
I would love to try the smoked summer vegetables. My neighbor said eggplant is great on the grill, but I would imagine smoked it would be even better. I hesitated trying it thinking that it wouldnt get done clear through. I have TONS of eggplant in the garden this year! This smoker would ROCK to do this type of thing!
The smoked chicken… yummmmzow!
Fill every rack with Pork Ribs!
The LAMB guy is back. Lookin’ forward to slices of that bodacious meat.
ribs, i want to see how an electric smoker can stand up to a good ol’ coal and wood fire.
It woulld be a toss up…Maple Glazed Ham Pork or Baby Back Ribs. I don’t know which to do first.
The Maple Glazed Ham sounds yummy! I’d like to win this for my husband.
Oddly my entry for the 7th didnt show up
I know I came here and typed about smoked turkey. I usually use an electric roaster inside, but have never tried a smoker for one.
9/8
I have a hankering for a maple glazed ham…. pretty soon, it will be time to stock the freezer. Living where we have winter storms, 1/4 of a hog is usually bought in November. I would LOVE to have a smoker to do a few hams -and we can get fresh maple syrup from a nature preserve close by!
The Sweet Smoked Salmon sounds delicious. I would love to win this smoker and surprise my husband at Christmas!
Missed the smoked potatoes JawPaul mentioned. They sure would go well with the LAMB. Glad to see someone else has a hankerin’ for lamb.
The lamb is one of my favorite food. When BBQ’ed and smoked correctly you can’t beat the tast of the meat. I would really enjoy winning in the smoker giveway.
The smoked potatoes is definitely my favorite. A great way to spice up an old standby. I’d like to win the smoker so I can smoke more at once and so that I can get my wife to help with as she is not comfortable with the charcoal.
Smoked Trout, Fish is soo much nicer on a proper smoker, rather than a BBQ with some woodchips wrapped in tinfoil.
My favorite is surely the Salmon recipe – one of my wife’s favorite foods.
Our family loves ribs. The Pork or Baby Back Ribs would be great to try. I’d love to win this smoker for my husband.
Kind of early in the day to be thinking about dinner, but smoked baby back ribs sound soooooooooo good!
The Smoked Salmon with Peppercorn Crust sounds interesting. A must try if I win. What a great birthday gift for me it would be. October 5th is right around the corner.
My favorite recipe would be the Pork or Baby Back Ribs. I’d like to win this for my husband’s 50th birthday. He’d love it.
Venison Jerky! We know lots of hunters and venison is by far the most abundant here/ I make it in a dehydrator now but boy I would LOVE to give it a go in a smoker. The guys would go hog wild over it. My husband carries jerky with him all the time!
Lamb it is. SWMBO says that I sometimes have a one track mind. Guess there is a lamb standing smack dab in the middle of the track.
