The June 2009 issue of “Better Homes and Gardens” arrived today. I usually enjoy looking through the magazine for ideas to improve our backyard landscape.
My eye was immediately drawn to the “Budget BBQ for 12″ article. The idea behind the article was to feed 12 people a BBQ meal for under $100.00. And since they chose ribs I had to read it.
Their great idea was to cook the ribs in the oven until done and put them on the grill. I guess by touching already cooked meat to the grill they can call it BBQ. Stupid, lazy cheaters! (Did I say that.) It’s not all that hard to feed 12 people some real BBQ for under $100.00. You’ve just got to be willing to put some effort out and actually cook something.
I’m going to suggest they change the magazine to Lazy Homes & Gardens.
