Homemade Bacon: Day 5

There isn’t much change between Day 4 and Day 5.

Check out the size of the pork bellies between the start of the curing process and Day 5.

After putting the cure on the skin side I turned it over.  This is going to be some nice meaty bacon when it's all done.

On Day 1 the pork bellies filled the dish from side to side.

On Day 5 you can see how much the pork bellies have condensed down.On Day 5 you can see how much the pork bellies have condensed as the moisture has been drawn out of the meat
