Got a chance to eat at the famous Sonny Bryan’s Smokehouse this past Monday. What a treat! I had been told by several that the place wasn’t as good as it once was. Well, if it’s gone down hill then it must have been pretty amazing, but I really enjoyed the meal.Of course, there is something to be said for the atmosphere. It’s quite the experience. The old school desks to sit at inside and pigeons crawling around outside made this an interesting dining experience.

I had the sliced brisket sandwich with beans and onion rings. It was very good. The sauce was tasty and complimented the meat. It tasted pretty good on the onion rings also.
All and all it was worth the drive from Grapevine.
